GREAT BRITISH MENU'S ANGELO SATO BRINGS YATAI TO BRIGHTON

Humble Chicken's chef patron brings his Japanese street food brand, Yatai, to Shelter Hall

Born in Japan, 29 year-old Angelo started working in professional kitchens aged 15. He moved to London when he was 17, and has since worked in some of the world's finest establishments: from three Michelin-starred RyuGin and two-starred NARISAWA in Tokyo to Daniel Humm's three Michelin-starred New York restaurant, Eleven Madison Park, and three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay under then head chef Clare Smyth.

Angelo was the head chef at Tom Sellers' two Michelin-starred Restaurant Story before opening his own restaurant in Soho, Humble Chicken. At Humble Chicken, Angelo has dialled back his classical European influences and returned to his Japanese roots, serving refined and authentic Tokyo-style Yakitori. Yatai is his latest brand, offering fresh fast Japanese food.

Yatai has arrived at Shelter Hall for a four month residency and is available until the end of January.

TRY YATAI

Yatai is available until the end of January at our food hall, Shelter Hall - the perfect opportunity to take a trip to Brighton!
